About Me

Hello! My name is Jenny!
These are from my best friend's wedding, just a little taste of my personalities.
The one on the left is me in my natural state of crazy and vogue at the same time.
The one on the right is what I portray to the normal folk so they don't get scared of the left me.

Welcome to my little world here at My Teaching Diaries. I was a nanny for 2 1/2 years until God opened a door for me to go into my passion of teaching. I work at a private school outside of Atlanta, where I am an Inclusion Teacher. I spend my day working with children doing remedial work, as well as offer emotional support for those who need it. My day never looks the same and I am in love with my job.

I was born and raised as an Army brat, and am proud of it. My great grandfather and my papa both served and retired as Marines. My dad is retired Army, and my brother is a Helicopter pilot in the army now. Am I patriotic? Well I would probably be disowned if I wasn't. I am proud of where I come from the legacy my family has. I have one older brother, two sisters, one sister-in-law, one niece and two nephews.
Sister In Love - Brooke
In order Juli, Me, Jason, Jessi (this is from a long time ago)
Grace holding baby Ben and then James

With that being said I have moved (Packed up a house and relocated) a total of 13 times. I just recently moved again this time from Kennesaw, Georgia (north of Atlanta) down the highway 20 minutes, and now I have an Atlanta address. I live with my friend Kirsten and we are having so much fun with our new apartment. We love to watch Netflix, have random dance parties, host game nights, and snuggle on the couch.

I enjoy knitting, sewing, cross-stitching, scrapbooking, and crafting of all kinds. Baking and cooking is my love language and I am always up for a good challenge on what to make. Pinterest you can find my boards here is my addiction and a lot of times the way that I settle my mind at the end of a long work day.

My future goals are to meet a man and make him mine, just kidding, I love my life and just want to make sure that everything I do pleases the Lord.

Thanks for following along!

Jenny
